TariqShah

Tariq Shah started practicing law in Ontario, Canada in 1998. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association.

Tariq started his practice in the areas of Real Estate, Wills, and Immigration. However, he has primarily focused on Immigration and Real Estate for the last 15 years.

Tariq has significant experience advising clients in Business/Investor Visas, Skilled Trade Categories, Permanent Residence Status, Citizenship and Family Sponsorship Visas. His attention to detail and his unparalleled customer service is recognized by his clients.

Tariq also has ample experience in advocating for clients before the Immigration Appeal Division and the Federal Court.

In his spare time, Tariq likes to exercise, read, and spend time with his family.

Tamur T. Shah was born in Montreal and raised in Ontario. Prior to joining Shah & Shah, he worked at Bartolini Berlingieri, a boutique Hamilton Law firm specializing in Personal Injury. He now practices law with a strong focus on Personal Injury (Civil Litigation) and Immigration including tort and accident benefit matters, slip and fall, and other general negligence claims.

Tamur completed his Bachelors of Law at the University of Kent. He has advocated for his clients in the Federal Court, Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Provincial Court, Small Claims Court, and at administrative bodies, including the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Licensing Appeal Tribunal. He is a member of the Advocates Society and Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association.

In his spare time, Tamur enjoys travelling, reading, running and working out. He also participates in other activities such as toastmasters, skating, and biking.

Muraad T. Shah was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. Before joining Shah and Shah Lawyers, He articled and later worked at Williams and Singh with a strong focus in the area of Criminal Law and gained valuable experience participating in numerous criminal proceedings, including Bail Hearings, Pleas and Trials.

Muraad Shah completed his Bachelor of Law at the University of Essex.

He has represented clients across Ontario in the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice and Small Claims Court. He is a member of Law Society of Ontario, the Criminal Lawyers Association and The Hamilton Criminal Lawyers Association.

When Muraad is not in the office, he enjoys staying active, reading, writing and participating in Toastmasters.

Associates and Paralegals

Samandeep Singh is a Licensed Paralegal with over five years of experience in representing and assisting clients with Small Claims disputes, Summary Conviction charges, Provincial Offences, and Administrative Tribunals. Prior to joining Shah & Shah, he gained extensive experience working with several reputable law firms, including GAB Law Firm, Mason Caplan Roti LLP, Rousseau Mazzuca LLP, and Baker McKenzie.
 

Born and raised in Punjab, India, Samandeep immigrated to Ontario, Canada to complete his Secondary education and attended York University for Software Engineering before discovering his true passion for the legal field. Upon earning a Paralegal diploma with High Honours from Sheridan College and getting licensed as a Paralegal by the Law Society of Ontario, he pursued a Bachelor of Paralegal Studies at Humber College to further enhance his legal knowledge and advocacy skills.

Samandeep is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, which has proven beneficial in effectively communicating with clients from diverse backgrounds and providing legal advice in their preferred language.
